Book Reader

What is the best E-book Reader to buy?
Opinions please, I want both from people who own these devices and those who are considering buying these devices your input in relation to cost, ease of use and the diversity of use in correlation to how much information you can actually obtain from many media sources rather than limited media sources.
also the ease of being able to directly download books, mags, newspapers etc
also, which e-book reader actually allows you as a consumer to replace the battery?
Why does apple products have where you as a consumer cannot replace the battery yourself?
How long does one of these batteries last?
Please also consider the cost factor.
I would certainly recommend the Kindle, I love it. There are many more titles available and can be downloaded direct to the reader without the need for a pc. The battery life is up to 7 days with wireless activated or 14 days without. The battery can be changed manually but it is a battery design specific to The Kindle, however with the long life of the battery and the ability to charge via usb and mains power should negate the need for a spare battery. At $259 including shipping its a bargain. Check the link below
