I purchased my kindle a few weeks ago and I also purchased a black leather case but after transporting it in my purse for a few weeks I was getting nervous that something (like lotion) might open and it would ruin my Kindle. I wanted to keep my leather case because I like to read with it on there (it feels more like a book) and I read the measurements to see if the kindle and case would fit in this carrying case... to my surprise it did! and I love getting a light with it too! This is a great buy and I highly recommend it!! Only 19.95!! not bad :)

This is "becoming" a great case. I bought the black Kindle cover as well because I wanted a sturdy cover for the device. The fit for the Kindle with its cover in this case was really tight at first. . . .almost couldn't zip it the first few times, but the neoprene is stretching and it is getting near-perfect. If you don't have the Kindle cover, it slides right in, but I was worried about not having any protection for the screen while it was in the case. It's got a nice feel and doesn't smell. I'd recommend this case ONLY IF you have the patience to stretch it out over the Kindle cover, if you buy a cover.

This is a required accessory if you plan to take your Kindle with you. Kindle slips in and out easily, even with a skin on the Kindle. Protects your Kindle in your purse, diaper bag, backpack, etc... The light works as described, nice when your husband wants the bedroom light turned off.

I gave this to my daughter for Christmas. She said that the carrying case is very sturdy and keeps her kindle safe. She loves the pink color, perfect for her. The reading light was a little flimsy. But she says it gets the job done. Over all a great product.
